Home is the vehicle at The Garden Greenville in which discipleship happens. By “homes” we mean anywhere outside of the Sunday Temple gathering. Homes are led by someone released and trained by The Garden Greenville. Homes are not primarily about connection, as are many small group experiences. Connection will happen through committing to the discipleship journey, but the aim is to raise disciple-makers. Remember multiplication is part of the mandate (Matthew 28:19) and so raising up others to be able to lead is vital. If we have a mindset to raise disciples eventually, we may stifle them. If, however, we have the mindset to raise up disciple-makers, we know that at some point they will be released into leading others.
